Concussion Summit

Much has been written here, and elsewhere, about the susceptability of NFL players to concussions and what the most responsible course of treatment should be for injured players. Now comes word from ESPN that the NFL is calling a meeting of the doctors and training staffs of all thirty-two teams. According to the report those in attendance will be privy to a report from the NFL's Committee on Mild Traumatic Brain Injury.

Just as important, some critics of the committee's work - and their have been many -- will also be invited to attend the meeting which is to be held June 19th in Chicago.
